This is my most recent shoot, Off-Kilter, shot on location at the Rex Trueform building in Salt River/Woodstock Cape Town, styled and co-conceptualized by Kate Desmarais, modelled by Caitlin Dobson and featuring clothes selected from the David West archives.

 I attended the DAF end of year fashion show last night. These are a few pics I managed to take from my seat.

In vain?

 Today, dubbed Black Tuesday in South Africa, a secrecy bill was passed which, if it becomes law, will allow the incarceration, for up to 25 years, of journalists or whistle blowers who make state information, including political corruption, publicly known. 

I think Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu said it well, "It is insulting to all South Africans to be asked to stomach legislation that could be used to outlaw whistle-blowing and investigative journalism... and that makes the state answerable only to the State."

Protesters gathered outside Parliament wearing black in hopes that the bill would be voted against.
